Aries Nur Prasetyo Sunu joined Bank DBS Indonesia in 2020 as Head of HR, and was appointed as Director in July 2022.


With more than 20 years of professional experience in Human Resources (HR) in various companies such as Metlife Insurance, KPMG, Hay Group, Permata, Maybank, and also Bank DBS Indonesia, Aries has led various HR functions such as in remuneration, compensation and benefits, recruitment, organizational development, talent management, HR strategy, performance management, industrial relations, and also as HR business partner.

Under his leadership, HR DBS Indonesia has won various prestigious awards such as Best Employer Kincentric 2020, 2021; The Best HR Management for The Outstanding HR Transformation Initiatives 2021 by Warta Ekonomi; Stellar Workplace Award 2019; Indonesia Best Employer 2017 by AON Hewitt; Indonesia Best Employer for Women 2018 by AON Hewitt; SWA HR Excellence Award 2020 (Learning & Development Strategy with AA Rating, Recruitment Strategy with AA Rating, and, Performance Management with A Rating); Warta Ekonomi Indonesia Human Resources Awards 2022 - The Best HR Management for Outstanding Excellent Strategies, Values, and Programs to Develop Competent HR; and SWA HR Excellence Award 2022 Excellent for Managing Transformation category.

Internally, Aries has also made significant contributions to the overall improvement and development of the Bank’s Human Resources. Always eager to share his experiences and several times a guest lecturer at various renowned universities in Indonesia, Aries holds a Bachelor of Economics in Finance from the University of Indonesia and a Master of Science (Cum Laude) from KU Leuven, Belgium.
