    The DBS Marina Regatta is back this year with an exciting line-up of activities for all ages!

    We’re bringing you Singapore’s largest outdoor eco-maze, where participants will race against the clock to complete physical and mental challenges that aim to unearth myths about recycling and the environment. Learn more about how you can contribute in small and simple ways to a more eco-friendly society through our workshops and giant games.

    For those who are looking to kick back and relax, we’re partnering with Jim Beam this year to bring you a pop-up Jim Beam Highball Bar where you can knock back some drinks and enjoy some classic tunes from Singapore’s up and coming buskers. You can also indulge in some drool-worthy hawker fare from next-gen local hawkerpreneurs at affordable prices!

    Catch exhilarating dragon boat races as the top teams in the region battle it out in the 8th edition of the international dragon boating competition organised in partnership with the Singapore Dragon Boat Association. For those who would like to enjoy the iconic Marina Bay skyline from a different perspective, you can take part in our ever popular Sailing By The Bay programme.

    1. What is the DBS Marina Regatta

    DBS Marina Regatta is Singapore’s Biggest Bay Festival, and this year we’re bringing to you an exciting slate of activities, including Singapore’s largest eco-maze. The event is also host to the 8th edition of the international dragon boating competition organised in partnership with the Singapore Dragon Boat Association.

    2. What is the admission fee to DBS Marina Regatta? What free activites are on offer?

    Admission to the event is free. Examples of free activities include the FREE PLAY category of the eco-maze, sailing, and other water sport programmes.

    3. What time does the event start and end?

    DBS Marina Regatta will be happening from 31 May to 2 June (3-10pm)

    4. Where can i find the Dragon Boat race schedule?

    5. Can the public take part in the Dragon Boat races?

    No. The races are co-organised by the Singapore Dragon Boat Association and you need to register and compete as a team. However, you can try out our free water sports activities including dragon boating, kayaking and paddle boating at the event!

    6. How can i sign up for the DBS sailing programmes? When are they held?

    Registration for the DBS sailing programme will be held onsite at the information counter at the Promontory, please sign up on the spot at the Pontoon (next to Customs House) adjacent to the Promontory at Marina Bay. Slots will be assigned on a first come first served basis and the sailing programme is open to those aged between 7-70. Each session will take about 40 mins, including a 10 min safety briefing.

    7. What happens if it rains?

    The DBS Marina Regatta is a rain or shine event. However, specific activities such as Race the Maze, Dragonboat races, Sailing by the Bay, and Water Sports may be affected or cancelled in the event of inclement weather.

    8. Will there be food at DBS Marina Regatta

    Yes! Drop by The Grubhouse for a range of delicious food and drink options.

    1. How do I register for the maze?

    You can register for the DBS Marina Regatta – Race the Maze here! Only entries submitted by the authorised registration system will be accepted. Do note that time slots are subject to availability on a first come, first served basis.

    2. Must I register online? Can I register at the event on the day itself instead?

    Only entries submitted by the authorised registration system will be accepted.

    You may register onsite at the event. However, we recommend signing up early as time slots are subject to availability and registration will be conducted on a first come, first served basis.

    3. Can I register for the maze more than once?

    Unfortunately, not! Participants can register for only one session across both days.

    4. Can I register on behalf of my friend, family member, someone else etc?

    Each email address submitted during registration can correspond to only one (1) name. You may register on behalf of someone else as long as his/her email address had not been previously used by another individual for registration.

    Please note that all communication materials pertaining to the event will be sent to registered email addresses only. There will also be onsite photo identify verification so do ensure that the registered name corresponds to the name in the Photo Identification Document (e.g. NRIC/ Passport/ Concession Pass/ Driver’s Licences/Student ID) to be produced at the event.

    5. Is the maze free? What are the game mechanics?

    Yes the maze is free! Participants must sign up online before or during the event subject to slots availability. Those who complete 7 out of the 10 challenges within 12 minutes will receive a DBS sustainability gift pack. Registration begins 24 April.

    6. What type of challenges are there in the maze?

    Our challenges revolve around the theme of sustainability and they range from physical obstacles like monkey bars and trampolines to challenges that test your knowledge about the environment.

    7. Is the maze child-friendly?

    We strongly encourage an adult to accompany children who are below the age of 12. The child must still meet the height requirement (>1.2m).

    8. What is this maze about?

    This is a fun, eco-themed maze which consists of 10 different challenges. The maze is made up of pallets which are manufactured from compressed straws and they are 1.2m high. Participants would have to navigate their way through the maze while attempting 10 challenges.

    Each station features a series of ‘games’ ranging from quizzes to obstacle courses. For every station successfully completed, participants would be given a wrist band. The goal would be to collect as many wrist bands as possible within the shortest possible time.

    9. Is there a time limit for the maze?

    Yes, there is a time limit of 12 minutes for each session. Do note that you’ll be free to exit the maze any time within the time frame if you wish!

    10. Is there an age or height restriction to take part in the maze?

    Participants need to be more than 1.2m in height in order to participate in the maze.

    11. Is there a specific attire I need to wear in order to participate in the maze?

    You will need to be wearing covered shoes to participate in the maze. As for attire, we highly recommend comfortable sportswear.

    12. Are there washrooms and bag storage available?

    There will be washrooms and bag storage stations available at the event.

    13. Is this maze a rain or shine event?

    Yes, it is. However, we might delay the commencement of the sessions in the event of inclement weather.

    14. What time must I report for my session and what do I need to bring?

    You are required to report for your session at the Maze check-in at least 15 minutes prior to the commencement of your session. You will need to bring along your Photo Identification Document (e.g. NRIC/ Passport/ Concession Pass/ Driver’s Licences/Student ID).

    15. What do I do if I sustain an injury while participating in the maze or otherwise unable to finish the maze?

    In the event that you sustain an injury, please approach the nearest first aiders deployed in the vicinity of the maze. Participants who require immediate medical attention may alert the game masters or any DBS officials in sight.

    1. How do I get to the DBS Marina Regatta?

    The DBS Marina Regatta is happening at The Promontory @ Marina Bay. You can get there either by Bus or MRT.
