2020 has brought unprecedented challenges, but it has been incredibly heart-warming to see many Singaporeans stepping up to give back to the community.

With the onset of Covid-19 and Singapore entering the circuit breaker, certain issues such as social isolation amongst the elderly became more apparent.

In this episode of “In The Moment”, our host Nadia shares her experience with virtual volunteering, an initiative that was sparked by the partnership between DBS and Lions Befrienders, that aims to reach out to at-risk seniors to help ease loneliness amid the pandemic.

We also speak to the everyday heroes who have been lending (virtual) helping hands to those in need. When we come together, indeed we are a stronger Singapore.
