SMS Alerts for Inward Cheque Clearing
As the cheque related frauds are becoming a serious concern, the RBI issued a circular on “Cheque related fraud cases – preventive measures” (RBI/2014-15/294 DBS.CFMC.BC.No. 006 /23.04.001/2014) on November 5, 2014, detailing the list of activities to be undertaken by the banks as preventive measures.
In conjunction to the same, if you wish to receive alerts related to Inward cheque clearing, i.e. when cheques issued by you are presented for clearing at our counters, on your registered contact number, simply download and submit the duly filled in the application form available below to the nearest branch.
These alerts will enable you to intimate the bank in case you witness any fraudulent/suspicious activity in your account with respect to the clearing of cheques issued by you, instantly. In case of such an event, please contact the DBS BusinessCare at 1800-103-6500 / 1800-419-9500 immediately to report such fraudulent / suspicious activity.
In case you wish to modify the registered contact numbers for this service, kindly get in touch with your Relationship Manager or simply download and submit the duly filled in the application form available below to the nearest branch. Changes to registered mobile numbers for the purpose of receiving these SMS alerts will not affect any other service.
