Declaration

    1. I hereby apply for DBS Bank Vantage Credit Card (“Credit Card”) and declare that all the information included in this application is voluntarily furnished by me and is true, correct, accurate and complete and that I am an Indian Citizen and that I am eligible to apply for an internationally valid card.
    2. I have read, understood and accept the contents of this application form, Cardmember Agreement, most important terms and conditions ("MITC"), key fact statement and other terms and conditions (collectively “Credit Card T&Cs”) as applicable to the Credit Card including any amendments made from time to time at the sole discretion of DBS Bank. I understand that the Credit Card T&Cs are available on DBS Bank India Limited (“DBS Bank”) website at go.dbs.com/vantagetnc I understand it is my responsibility to obtain, read and understand the Credit Card T&Cs, as may be updated and published from time to time by DBS Bank on its website. I will be bound by the Credit Card T&Cs as may be in force from time to time and receipt/use of the Credit Card shall be deemed to be irrevocable and unconditional acceptance of the Credit Card T&Cs.
    3. I agree and understand that in an event I do not make payment of the amount due as per the previous statement by the payment due date, interest at the rate up to 3.99% per month (48% per annum) ("Finance Charges") shall be payable on such unpaid amount. I also understand that in cases full amount is due and payable, the applicable Finance Charges on such delayed payment will be charged by DBS Bank on my usage of the Credit Card from the date of such transaction.
    4. I understand that the credit limit on my Credit Card is fixed by DBS Bank basis various parameters and at its sole discretion. I hereby authorize DBS Bank to contact me via telephone, SMS or digital channels (In-App or Internet Banking notification, etc.) for upgrading my Credit Card’s credit limits (if eligible). DBS Bank shall also be authorized to upgrade my credit limits basis my consent on telephone, SMS or digital channels.
    5. I declare that I shall update DBS Bank in writing of any change in my residential or employment/ business address or any such change which may affect my creditworthiness including, in case of Resident Indian Cardholder, notifying DBS Bank once the current address is updated with Unique Identification Authority of India (“UIDAI’).
    6. I hereby authorize DBS Bank and/or its third-party service providers to verify any information or otherwise at my office/residence or to contact me/my employer/banker/credit bureau/RBI or any other source to obtain or provide any information that may be required for confirming Credit Card membership requirements or maintaining my account in good credit standing.
    7. I understand and acknowledge that DBS Bank shall have the absolute discretion to reject my application, under intimation to me, and that DBS Bank shall not be responsible / liable in any manner whatsoever to me for such rejection and, any costs, losses, damages or expenses, or other consequences, caused by reason of such rejection,. I understand that DBS Bank reserves the right to retain the photographs and documents submitted with this application and will not return the same to me. I understand that the grant of Credit Card is at the sole discretion of DBS Bank and upon my executing and submitting necessary documents and other formalities as required by DBS Bank.
    8. I confirm that no commitments have been made to me by DBS Bank or any of its representatives regarding the credit limit on the Credit Card. Further I have not given/ made any payment in cash, bearer cheque or kind along with or in connection with this application to any representative of DBS Bank (or) to any other third party.
    9. I confirm that no bankruptcy/insolvency proceeding is pending against me, nor have I ever been adjudicated bankrupt/insolvent.
    10. DBS Bank reserves the right to unconditionally cancel or reduce the limit assigned on a Credit Card under intimation to me. Any increase in credit limit shall be done only basis my express consent.
    11. I understand that DBS Bank will convey its decision on acceptance or rejection of application within 30 working days from the date of receipt of application provided the application is complete in all respects and it is submitted along with all the documents and/or any additional documents as may be required by DBS Bank for proper appraisal of the application. The computation of 30 working days shall start from the day on which all the documents required for a proper appraisal of the application are provided by me to DBS Bank.
    12. I understand and undertake that the usage of the Credit Card shall be strictly in accordance with applicable laws including Foreign Exchange Management Act, 1999, and the rules and regulations thereunder as applicable from time to time, which I undertake as my responsibility to keep myself updated of, and in the event of any failure to do so, I will be liable for action under the Foreign Exchange Management Act, 1999 or its statutory modification or re-enactment thereof.
    13. I understand that the fees and charges applicable on the Credit Card shall be exclusive of taxes and levies and I shall be liable for payment of such taxes, cess and other levies as per applicable laws.
    14. I agree and understand that DBS Bank will never ask for any OTP/Card No/ CVV/PIN and I further understand that I will not give these details to anyone including DBS Bank or its authorized agents or representatives.
    15. I also understand that as per applicable regulatory guidelines, E-commerce / International / contactless transactions are disabled and the same can be enabled through the DBS Card+ mobile app / website by me upon receipt of the Credit Card.
    16. I declare that I am not a Politically Exposed Person#1 or related to Politically Exposed Persons (as defined and amended by Reserve Bank of India from time to time)
      #1 Politically Exposed Persons” (PEPs) are individuals who are or have been entrusted with prominent public functions in a foreign country, e.g., Heads of States/Governments, senior politicians, senior government/judicial/military officers, senior executives of state-owned corporations, important political party officials, etc.
    17. Add-on Card: In case I have applied for Add-on card(s) (available for my parent/ spouse/ brother/sister/child over 18 years of age) I will be billed for such an Add on card in the normal monthly statement. I, the primary applicant, will be liable for all charges incurred with the Add-on card(s) issued on the account and each Add-on applicant will be liable for compliance with applicable Know Your Customer (KYC) norms on the Add-on card(s). Continuation of the Add-on card / Cardmember will be dependent on the continuation of my, the primary Cardmember’s, membership.
    18. I agree to DBS Bank’s Privacy Policy which is available on DBS Bank India Limited website at https://www.dbs.com/in/treasures/privacy-policy.page
    19. I understand that DBS Bank, believing these declarations/statements/supporting documents to be true and correct, will rely and act upon it. In the event any of these declarations/statements/supporting documents are found to be incorrect or false or fabricated or fake, DBS Bank shall have a right to terminate the Credit Card account. I will not hold DBS Bank or any of its officials responsible in case of any incorrect/false/fabricated/fake information provided by me. I hereby declare that should there be any change in the information provided by me or under the declarations/statements/supporting documents provided herein after the completion of the Credit Card application, I shall promptly inform DBS Bank of such change.
 

Consent

  1. I hereby provide my consent to receive communications / monthly credit card statements from DBS Bank and its group companies in relation to my Credit CardAccount and related services/facilities/offers, , or in relation to any other product, services or offers by DBS Bank/its group companies for its  or other third party products including loan offers, promotional communications through telephone, e-mail, SMS, internet banking, mobile banking, or digital means like Whatsapp, etc. Regardless of whether my contact number is registered with National Customer Preference Registry (NCPR) or Do Not Call Registry (DND) I authorize DBS Bank to call me on my contact number for aforesaid purposes..
  2. I confirm that I hereby authorize and give consent to DBS Bank to disclose, without notice to me, documents executed in relation to the Credit Card from DBS Bank, to DBS Bank's other branches.
  3. I hereby authorize DBS Bank to use my KYC data from DBS Bank’s records in respect to my existing accounts held with DBS Bank, for the purpose of my Credit Card application.
  4. I confirm that while applying for the Credit Card I have provided digital consent using my mobile number (registered with DBS Bank), in the manner prescribed by DBS Bank.
  5. I hereby authorize DBS Bank to receive my credit information from credit information companies at its discretion for the purpose of my Credit Card application and retain such information for such duration as DBS Bank may deem it necessary in compliance with applicable laws.
  6. I hereby authorize DBS Bank to share and disclose any / all information pertaining to my Credit Card and its usage, etc., with competent statutory, governmental or regulatory authorities, Credit Information Companies, DBS Bank group companies, and DBS Bank’s services providers, including for the purpose of KYC information verification and credit risk analysis.
  7. I hereby give consent that DBS Bank can download my KYC data from Central KYC Registry for the purpose of my Credit Card application.
  8. I hereby authorize DBS Bank to disclose, from time to time, any information relating to me or my Credit Card with DBS Bank’s third-party service providers for the purpose of products/services related to Credit Card, marketing or offering other DBS Bank products and allow such third parties to contact me or send such communications via telephone, SMS, Email, electronic messaging (eg. Whatsapp, etc.) or other means for the same. I also understand that in case I wish to unsubscribe, I can opt-out or unsubscribe as per the options provided in the Email communications, SMS, electronic message including WhatsApp etc or by calling DBS Customer care details of which have been provided on go.dbs.com/vantagetnc
