Alert: WhatsApp Scam 5 Mar 2025 - DBS Vickers (Hong Kong) Limited (“DBS Vickers HK”)1 has recently detected unauthorized use of its logo by scammers to promote AI securities advisory related services via WhatsApp messages and group invitation. DBS Vickers HK affirms that it has no association of any kind with those WhatsApp messages and group invitation. DBS Vickers HK has reported this matter to the Hong Kong Police for investigation. We encourage any members of the public to contact the police, if needed.
To avoid this trap, please beware of any requests for personal or financial information through external links. Never disclose sensitive information such as internet banking credentials and one time password to unverified sources.
