Bringing leading voices in Asia together - policymakers, industry leaders, businesses, community partners and more - to shed light on key societal challenges, unlock opportunities for collective action, and co-create ideas and solutions to drive enduring change.

At our inaugural summit, we will focus on the wicked problem of ageing and redefining the ageing narrative.

Why Ageing and Why Now?

The challenges brought about by ageing societies has become an increasingly acute concern not just in Singapore, Hong Kong, China, and ironically even younger populations like India and Indonesia.

These ageing societies are confronted with significant socio-economic implications that require urgent solutioning - e.g. shrinking workforce, changing consumer behaviours, sustainability of pension/ healthcare systems, potential societal fractures, retirement adequacy. While ageing affects everyone, society's most vulnerable segments are often most affected/ need more support to access the resources, know-how and opportunities to age well.

However, we believe that ageing societies could be more than a problem to be solved - they could also open up avenues for growth and innovation. The super ageing problem makes us more conscious of the need to come together and better support other more vulnerable segments in society.

At the Impact Beyond Summit, we will be discussing:

The key opportunities and challenges that Singapore and many markets in Asia will face as its population ages

The role that people, public and private sectors can play in coming together to build more inclusive, resilient societies in the face of this massive demographic shift

How we can leverage technology and innovation to improve healthspans

How can we change traditional mindsets and challenge the stereotypes of growing old?

The role of businesses in reshaping societal mindsets around ageing and realising opportunities that will emerge… as we strive towards increasing health spans in tandem with lifespans; and champion dignified, purposeful ageing.

We believe the summit can serve as a great opportunity to redefine conversations on ageing and spark collaborations that will help to tackle the challenges/opportunities ahead.
