Scam Alert: Scammers are impersonating DBS Australia to lure victims with high yield investment opportunities such as a product called ‘DBS Australia Enhanced Yield Fund'

Description: Scammers have been targeting members of the public who search for ‘high yield investment opportunities’ (the phrase) via various search engines. Scammers would then impersonate DBS Australia staff to contact members of the public who had searched for the phrase to promote an investment opportunity called “DBS Australia Enhanced Yield Fund” that is purported to be offered by DBS Australia. This is not true. DBS Australia is an institutional bank and does not provide investment opportunities to non-institutional investors. DBS would never ask retail customers to transfer money to another financial institution.
Scammers may use variants of DBS’ web address or email domain (e.g. dbs-xxxx.com etc) for such purposes. Customers are reminded to ensure that they are on DBS’ official website or use DBS’ official mobile applications to conduct any DBS bank-related requests. Be careful of and avoid responding to unsolicited emails, SMSs and phone calls. Please note that DBS’ official website is DBS.com. Description: Scammers are actively targeting members of the public via various search engines and could be re-directing you to fake DBS or DBS Australia websites or applications. Scammers are posting fraudulent advertisements on internet search, which appear as the first few search results when users search for DBS’ contact numbers or investment opportunities via internet. These fraudulent advertisements provide a fake contact number for victims to contact. A scammer impersonating a DBS staff may then contact you to offer attractive investment opportunities or other products and services.
